Wooden loft ladder case study: open access and closed hatch
Our own installation photographs show a folding wooden loft ladder extended into a landing, followed by two views of its hatch closed.
The ladder in use
The timber ladder folds down through the ceiling hatch. These images help show the space needed below the opening and how the ladder and hatch work together. Before fitting, we check ceiling height, landing clearance and the opening size.

The hatch when the ladder is stored
With the ladder folded away, the hatch closes into the ceiling opening. The images show the installed hatch and surrounding trim; final decoration requirements are agreed for each job.
