Real Loft Boarding, Ladder and Lighting Work: Our Photo Examples
See genuine work photos supplied by Doncaster Loft Boarding & Solutions: boarded storage areas, hatch access, metal ladders and loft lighting. These examples show different aspects of our work; each home needs its own assessment.
Boarded storage areas
These photos show boarding fitted around existing roof timbers. The layout and usable area depend on the loft. Send us your approximate width and length, postcode and photos so we can discuss suitable options.
Loft lighting
Lighting can be quoted on its own or alongside boarding. One 5ft mains LED strip starts at £300 including VAT and installation labour; two start at £360 including VAT. Ask Steve at SN Electrical about your installation: 07757 658706. Final requirements are confirmed after assessment.
Hatches and metal ladders
Access is part of planning useful loft storage. These photos show hatch openings and metal ladders from our work. We can discuss ladder and hatch options when preparing your quote.
Work in progress
A view of the loft during installation, with insulation and the timber roof structure visible. Boarding, access and insulation requirements are assessed for each home.
Prices and areas covered
Loft boarding is £55 per square metre including labour, excluding VAT (£66 including VAT). Ladders, hatches, insulation and lighting are quoted separately. We cover Doncaster, Barnsley, Sheffield, Rotherham and Worksop. The calculator provides an estimate; the final quote depends on the survey and selected work.
